Here is the basic idea:

• Download photo from Flickr

• Upload photo to Wikispaces

• Insert photo into your Wiki page

• Attribute photo (give credit to the photographer/creator)

Here are the steps:

To download from Flickr:

1. Open New Tab (Look for File - New Tab)

2. Search for Flickr (Use Google search box)

3. From the Flickr home page, click on Blue Search button

4. Click on Advanced Search (on the right side of the Search box)

5. Scroll down and check "Search only for creative-commons licensed photos"

6. Type in search term and view photos

7. Select a photo to download

8. Click on photo

9. Above photo, click on "All sizes"

10. Choose a size to download - click on "Download"

To upload to Wikispaces:

1. From your Wikispaces page, click on "Edit this page"

2. Click on the image of the tree

3. Under "Upload New File," click "Browse"

4. Under "Places," click "Desktop" - Look for a .jpg file from Today

5. Double click on file name - it should appear in "Upload New File" box

6. Click "Upload" - the photo you selected should appear in the "Images & Files" window

To insert a photo into your Wiki page:

1. Place the cursor where you want the photo to go

2. Double-click on the image

To attribute the photographer who took the photo:

1. Click on the image to get the "Image Properties" box

2. Copy the URL (website address) from the Flickr page where you downloaded the photo (Apple - C)

3. Click on the "Add Link" link on the "Image Properties" box

4. Click on "External Link" and paste the Flickr link into the box (Apple - V)

5. In the "Caption" box, type "Name of photo by photographer name on Flickr"

Congratulations! You have just added a photo to your Wikispaces page....

....and you did it legally!
